Wedding photographer in Kaunas
Kaunas is where I live and where most of my 450 weddings happened. I know which church has the light at two in the afternoon, which rooftop lets you see the whole old town behind you, and which manor houses within thirty minutes are worth the drive.
Where to photograph a wedding in Kaunas
Old town and the town hall
The white town hall, Vilniaus street, the courtyards off it. A civil ceremony at the town hall and the couple session are a ten-minute walk apart.
The castle and the confluence
Kaunas castle, the meadow where the Neris meets the Nemunas, and the Santaka park — wide, green and quiet even in July.
Rooftops and the funicular
The Aleksotas viewpoint and the hotel rooftops give the classic “whole city behind us” frame; the funicular is a two-minute ride that photographs like a film set.
Manor houses around the city
Pažaislis monastery, Raudondvaris manor and a dozen countryside estates within half an hour — where most Kaunas weddings actually hold the party.
