Wedding photographer in Vilnius
An hour from my door, and where a good share of my couples from abroad choose to marry: the largest baroque old town in northern Europe, a castle on an island forty minutes away, and manor houses on lakes all around. Travel is included — Vilnius is not “out of town” for me.
Where to photograph a wedding in Vilnius
Old town
The cathedral square, Pilies street, St Anne’s church and the courtyards of Vilnius University — a whole couple session without a car.
Užupis and Bernardine garden
The self-declared republic across the river for character, the garden beside it for calm. Both empty out after seven in the evening.
Trakai
The island castle, a boat on the lake, and the Užutrakis manor on the far shore — the most photographed wedding setting in the country, and still worth it.
Manor houses and estates
Within an hour of the city: lakeside estates where the ceremony, the dinner and the guests’ rooms are all on one lawn. Ask me — I have photographed at most of them.
